Gnat's Landing was originally founded on Saint Simons Island, GA by Robert "Boz" Bostock in 1999. The goal was to create a place for beach goers to relax in a "Flip-Flop Friendly" environment and enjoy some good ole' American Fare. In 2013, Boz tragically passed away from cancer. After his untimely passing, Gnat’s was acquired by the Pope family. St. Simons has been a place where the Popes have come together and grown as a family, and they wanted the opportunity to give back to the island that has already given them so much. With Boz’s original mission and goals in mind, teamed with so many familiar Gnats faces, the Popes purchased the restaurant with every intention of helping the island and its’ people grow and prosper. So... if you aren't afraid of having a good time, come on by and give us a try. The menu of daily specials, fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches, fried pickles, not to mention the $8,000 Margarita remain island traditions. But remember… if you want home cookin' - stay home. Gnat's is open 7 days a week, serving lunch and dinner, opening at 11:30 a.m. and closing at last call.

Kids are always welcome at Gnat’s Landing. We feature a full kid’s menu, bug bites, and even a kid’s bug juice (tang… spell it backwards).
Large or small Gnat’s Landing always loves a great party. Gnat’s offers a full catering menu, with a wide variety of options.
